Sisters, Michelle & Lisa Fielding


Lisa Fielding became a Hollywood screenwriter after spending years as a studio executive and independent producer. When she was able to segue to writing and leave behind the daily grind of an office, she availed herself to exploring a long-term dream of translating her cooking skills into a professional role. She launched Secret Ingredients in August of 2009 and started catering Hollywood-based intimate dinner parties for her myriad of entertainment friends who then became clients. Lisa’s love of cooking started when she was six-years old and able to pull a step-stool up to her grandmother’s counter in order to observe her rolling out the perfect pie crust. She enrolled in cooking classes at the tender age of 8 and never looked back. She has spent her entire life cooking for friends and family. When her sister, Michelle, expressed interest in joining Secret Ingredients formally instead of just helping out, the company expanded overnight with Michelle’s sophisticated cooking techniques and concepts.


Michelle Fielding also began cooking at an early age, but it was only after dining at Roger Verge’s Le Moulin de Mougins that her palate changed forever. Deciding to pursue a career in modeling, Michelle was scouted by a Paris agency and spent 12 years there, also pursuing her Fine Arts schooling and honing her culinary skills. It was in Paris, Lyon and summers in St. Tropez where she fine-tuned her abilities learning the demands and intricacies of French Haute Cuisine. During her many travels and lengthy stays in Greece, Spain, Tokyo and Italy she actively learned the indigenous cuisines of each country and mixed and matched flavors into her repertoire. Partnering with Lisa is a dream she has held for many years, so Secret Ingredients is a natural fit for the two of them.

The Cuisine

Our collective culinary background ensures your dining experience will be innovative, elegant, and international. Lisa and Michelle Fielding share a globetrotting past that includes living in such far flung locales as Beirut, Dusseldorf, Athens, Cannes, Paris, Milan and Tokyo. Their combined international backgrounds influenced their palates and later, informed their signature style of cooking and entertaining. A little bit Mediterranean, French, Italian and Middle-Eastern, the girls marry this with their own home-grown American origins for dishes that deliver an epicurean adventure one plate at a time.

Whether the menu calls for French, Provencale, Mediterranean, Mexican (The Fieldings’ maternal side of the family), Italian or contemporary American comfort food, Lisa and Michelle add a dash of their “secret ingredients” to deliver memorable meals and seriously good times.
